Lines and shapes
- Click to add points. Right-click (or double-click) adds a curved point.
- Press Enter to finish. For a closed shape, click the first point again.
- Backspace removes the last point, Esc cancels.
- Hold Ctrl to keep the next line at 15° steps.
Circles and rectangles
Circle: click the centre, then a point on the edge. Rectangle: click one corner, then the opposite one; hold Shift for a square.
Pen
Draw freehand. End near where you started to make a closed shape.
Satin block
Click one side of the column, then the other side, pair after pair along it, and press Enter. The stitches run across from side to side, like hand-made satin lettering.
Before you draw
While a tool is active, the card on the left sets the colour and stitch of the next shape. Turn on Snap to grid in Size and stitches to place points on the grid.
Tip: The Measure tool (M) shows the distance between two points, in mm or inches.
