Pixel art
Draw on a grid of squares and sew it as cross stitch or filled squares.
The Pixel art editor (studio menu, or /pixel) is a grid where each square is a thread colour.
- Pencil (P) paints squares, Eraser (E) clears them (right-click erases too), Fill (F) fills an area of one colour, Pick colour (I) takes a square's colour.
- Set the grid (up to 64 × 64 squares) and the square size (1.5 to 4 mm). Ctrl+Z and Ctrl+Y undo and redo.
- From a picture: choose a picture and the number of colours; each square takes the colour most of its pixels have. White can be left empty. Small, simple pictures work best.
- Cross stitch sews an X in every square, row by row. Filled squares turns each area of one colour into a filled shape.
- Tick Preview the stitches to see how it sews, then Open in studio to add text, combine it with other designs and export it.
Tip: Your drawing is kept in this browser, so you can come back to it later.
